"PJ" has served as pastor at CPCLM for almost 16 years.

He has been married to Cathy for 23 years and is the father to Michelle, Jaimie, and Ethan. They are experiencing a foretaste of empty nest as they only have one at home at the moment.

PJ lives to glorify God in every aspect of his life and is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ by the grace of God. Prior to entering Princeton Theological Seminary in 1999, he worked as a financial analyst in corporate lending and was pursuing an MBA, but the Lord called him to full-time ministry. His ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ both in the pulpit and through his life. He believes in shepherding with love and truth.

Ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in 2002, PJ has pastored churches in NJ, Texas, and now California.  He served one full term as the Moderator of Los Ranchos Presbytery, five years as a member of the board of trustees of the Presbyterian Foundation, commissioner to the General Assembly in 2012, Mid Council Commission II, and various committees within the presbytery including the Committee on Ministry and Council.

For personal sabbath, he enjoys sports, road trips, reading, and smoking barbecue on his smoker.

His life verse is Philippians 2:3-5, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves; each of you should look not only to your own interests but to the interests of others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus."
